This is my favorite soup for fall-ish weather. I’m making it right now for a critique group/potluck that’s happening tonight in our studio. We’ll serve it with ginger-pumpkin muffins. We get to see and talk about art and eat soup. Can’t get much better than that.
This is the first meeting for our artists’ group, but I’ve been in several writers’ groups and have always benefitted tremendously. Do you artists and writers out there get together to talk about your work with people whose opinions you value?
I don’t know about “get together” since I’m not in grad school and outside of that it’s slim pickin’s for people interested in philosophy, 😉 but in philosophy, dialogue and exchange are certainly “of the essence.” I wouldn’t think about trying to complete a serious paper without soliciting comments from others who’ve written on the same subject.
