Ah, yes, we’re definitely in puppy-training mode. Good thing we’ve got all wood floors, and just an awful sisal rug in the studio which has already taken all kinds of abuse from drips of varnish to entire cups of coffee: it’s prime puppy accident territory. We just got this stuff called Nature’s Miracle, and that seems to really work.
Such a great-looking dog, and I think you’ve selected a name that fits perfectly. It’s good to know that this new addition to your life is bringing you lots of joy (I’m a dog person myself, and would love to have one, if I only had the time). Dogs rule.
Thanks, we think she’s pretty great. Dogs are such wonderful companions, but it’s a huge seismic shift in life responsibility. We’re going through quite the adjustment period, planning our outing around potty times. It’s actually pretty hard to keep up with life in L.A. and still make it back in 4-hour blocks to let the dog out. Lily’s worth it, though.

I can smell the pee on my carpet just looking at this pic.

What a great photo and a neat looking little dog. She looks so sweet and self-possessed. Give Lily June a scratch behind the ears from me.
