Liking The Royal Tennenbaums would be the litmus test: if yes then yes/no then no. I was the ideal audience member for this somewhat abstract and fuzzy romp. It’s nice having something made for you.

When you’re in your twenties nobody makes anything for you. Everything is made for teenagers or people in their 30s and 40s. I suppose anyone older already has everything. People in their 20s have no money. It’s common knowledge.

I could talk about the costumes, but I’d rather reminisce about the set. Wowzo soundtrack. Really, a soundtrack worth buying. Example: we purchased it and listen to it.

I look forward to being in my 50s and having everything.

I recently saw one of those websites that have a satellite before and after shot of an Indonesian island. One day houses, the next: large foundations are hardly recognizable and half the land is missing.

Americans in their fifties.
