We’ve got Netflix and, generally, it’s great. We don’t have regular television, so we use it to mediate our teevee viewing. Everything was going wonderfully until Netflix offered a new option: personal profiles, where you can let someone in your household have their own queue. Murray got his own profile; he now gets to choose one out of every three films we watch. Suddenly, films like A Boy and His Dog, and Death Race 2000 are showing up in our mailbox. What was it with 1975 and post-apocalyptic sci-fi?
