Called of “the magician of the cinema” by Cahiers du Cinema, Bill Lundberg is one of the early pioneers of film installation. He has had solo exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, P.S. 1, the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Blanton Museum of Art, and ArtPace. The Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston put together a retrospective of his work in 2002. He is the founder and chair of the Transmedia program in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of the Texas at Austin.

Regina Vater represented Brazil in the Venice Biennial in 1976, and received a Guggenheim fellowship in 1980. Since 1985, Vater has lived and worked in Austin, Texas. In 2002, she received the order from the Rio Branco for the promotion of culture in the exterior.
