Wow inspiring film. I don’t even want to talk about the great dialog, costume design, casting, music, sly art world commentary and complex (simultaneously disturbing and life affirming) sexual relationships. Writer/director/actor Miranda July is a Gulf Coast oil tanker producing a wake so big you can surf it.
I’m not so sure about actors saying the movie’s title, as if to justify it. I love the title–I just don’t need it to be spelled out (think Schwarzenegger). That said, rarely do I see a film and want to see it again the next night. Me and You and Everyone We Know does that.
