In the last two weeks, the fall art season has opened in a big way here in St Louis. We’ve been to a slew of openings — Philip Slein, Bruno David, the Contemporary to name a few — seen Tara Donovan lecture at the St Louis Art Museum, and attended the grand opening of an exciting new space, White Flag Projects (which we’ll be blogging about very soon). We’re looking forward to the rest of what looks like a treasure trove of art events this year, and we haven’t even begun to explore the nearby art scenes in Chicago, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis.
