We finished recording Mountainside’s two videos yesterday. This photo shows “the runners” and “the thinkers”. The cast blew us away.

These videos are part of the installation premiering at Purdue University in Indiana on August 29th, and will be available on our website soon after.

The mountain is skinned, the set is almost finished. Special thanks to Chris Newman who has interned with us during the mountain’s construction.

Today we skin the mountain. Notice that the vertical posts that hold the grid inside the mountain are cut at the point and angle of the mountain’s surface slope. This will allow us to stretch the mountain skin through the posts. Each post has a dowel rod inside it to “Lego” it securely at the slope intersection.
